from 450 reviewsI love the support of the shoe holding my foot in place while I am still able to move well.

Montis has Great shoes that have great durability and support.

Amazing grip and feel. Seems like they last longer than any other shoe I've had. Will absolutely get them again.

Great shoes. They were comfortable right out of the box, no break in required. They feel great on the court, super secure. Also good to wear after the game. They do run small, I wear 10.5 in just about every shoe, and the 11 was perfect. Highly recommend.

I love, love, love my new shoes. Played with them for the first time tonight. Everyone was jealous of the style, the color, and the soles. i played my best ever! Coincidence? When you feel good and look great, you play great! Don't forget, they are tight. I usually wear a size 11. I got an 11 and 1/2 and they were perfect! Thank you Montis!

Worth the confusion getting the right size. I wish I would have seen the option for returning shoes.

These shoes are very durable and stable. I haven't had any moments in which I felt my footing was unstable. I typically rotate my shoes, but I wanted to really test these out so I've only been using my Montis shoes for the past month. Minimal signs of wear on the bottoms and even though I've scuffed the toes a couple of times, there aren't any holes/tears developing there yet.
My favorite part of these shoes is the "lock down". I've got narrow feet, and even though I accidentally purchased the wide version, I'm able to get my feet locked down enough via the laces to where I haven't had any toe jamming into the toe box of the shoes. There has been a little bit of sideways "slide" inside the shoe, but I know this is a result of me having purchased the wides instead of the standard size. I'm excited to buy a replacement pair when these ones wear out so I can get the added benefit of a shoe that isn't too wide for my foot. That being said, even with these being a little wide, the lock down has been elite! Smashing toe nails on the end of my shoes is something I've always struggled with in pickleball, but I haven't had to deal with that in these shoes. This is a game changer for me - no more bracing myself for painful impact when I'm hitting the breaks after having sprinted at full speed to get a ball I shouldn't have tried to get to begin with ;).
As far as cons go for the shoe, I've only got one. The insoles aren't anything special. It's just a flat foam with no arch support. Whether that's a good or a bad thing is up to the wearer I suppose, but I decided to solve this by putting in my own insoles.

Incredibly comfortable court shoe! Best yet.

This is one of my favorite tennis shoes ever. That is why a bought a second pair so that I can rotate them.

Previously wore Adidas Barricades and the Montis 1.0 easily replace them. Was a little skeptical of the Virtual Size Finder, but the fit is perfect (half size up). Comfort and support excellent. Only wish I had tried them sooner.

This is my second pair of Montis Pickleball shoes, once again no break in, comfortable from day one. I am a fan

Theses shoes are literally the best shoes ever love this brand so much

I had to exchange for a half size up, which was no problem — and as suggested on the site, that turned out to be the right call. The fit now feels spot-on.
These shoes are very comfortable. One small suggestion: adding a top eyelet slightly farther back could help improve heel lock. Not a complaint — just something that could take an already great design up another notch.
So far, the soles seem to be holding up well. I need more court time to fully gauge long-term durability, but I’m impressed. I may try the wide version next time just to allow for a bit more toe splay — they’re not overly snug, but I’m curious whether a wider fit might unlock even more comfort.
For reference, I’ve worn Asics Gel 9s, two pairs of K-Swiss Express Lights, Skechers Vipers, two pairs of PB5Star Court2s — and now the Montis Drop 1.0s. It’s a close call between these and the Court2s, but the Drop 1.0s will definitely be a repeat buy.
Outstanding comfort and performance at a great price — I’m sold.
